Grosek Family
The Kitchen Edit
Allegra & Jake, busy professionals with a energetic toddler and new baby, already had the basics figured out, but wanted to bring more calm to the chaos by elevating the overall energy of their kitchen space & adding more resources to their existing knowledge.
They had a solid start with minimally-processed ingredients, non-toxic cleaning products and cookware, but processed snacks & sugary sauces were still stuck in the mix and all the cooking was falling on one person. Together, we tightened their organization systems, upgraded their pantry staples, and introduced easy-to-make, nutrient-dense options the whole family can reach for without thinking.
Before
I was thrilled to see their space already stocked with Branch Basics, filtered water, non-toxic cookware and a fridge of veggies. The biggest opportunity was making more space for clean snack options, organizing ingredients and prioritizing cleaner alternatives for sauces and condiments.
After The Kitchen Edit
I prioritized putting clean ingredients front and center, swapping ziploc for silicon, wrapping & labeling cheeses, and giving everything in the fridge a home. I utilized beautiful, colorful pottery they already owned to bring a sense of art & playfulness to display the citrus and herbs. Decanting pantry staples into glass containers helps not only see what is available but also reduces microplastic exposure over time.
I swapped over 30 products for cleaner alternatives and leveled up their fridge by decanting frequently used products and making it easier to find what they were looking for. I introduced a few new superfoods into the mix like Acai Powder, Buckwheat and Maca, to make nutrient-packed smoothie & snack-prep feel effortless and easy. I armed Allegra with several new simple grab n’ go high-protein snack ideas that both the adults and kids can enjoy.
