Blue Majik Protein Balls
Nut-free • School-friendly • Freezer-ready
These vibrant little bites are packed with fiber, plant-based protein, and mineral-rich superfoods. They’re naturally sweetened with dates, easy to prep, and perfect to keep on hand for kids (or you) when energy dips. The primary superfood: Blue Majik by E3live, is a rich blue spirulina powder containing phycocyanin, an exceptionally strong anti-inflammatory, capable of neutralizing harmful free radicals, while also acting as a potent novel COX-2 inhibitor and clinically showing an ability to alleviate physical discomfort and promote overall well-being.
I love to make a big batch of these at the start of the week & store them in a ice cube tray. These can be customized so many different ways and you can experiment with different mix-ins, powders and superfoods the keep it interesting. Another flavor combo I love is turmeric and carrot.
Ingredients
(Makes approximately 15-21 balls depending on size)
5 Medjool dates (pitted)
1 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon maca powder

2 tablespoons hemp seeds
2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted if solid)
1 scoop whey or vegan protein powder
For the topping:
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
2–3 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
Blend the base.
Add the dates, oats, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, maca powder, marine glow blend, Blue Majik, hemp seeds, protein powder and coconut oil to a food processor.
Blend until fully combined and the mixture forms a soft but firm dough. It should stick together when pressed between your fingers.Roll into balls.
Scoop out small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll between your hands into bite-sized balls.Coat for texture.
In a small bowl, mix the hemp seeds and coconut flakes. Roll each ball in the mixture until lightly coated.Set and store.
Place the finished balls into an ice cube tray to keep them neatly organized. Transfer to the freezer for 30–60 minutes to firm up.Enjoy anytime.
Store in the freezer for longer freshness. Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating if you prefer a softer texture.
