Your brain can be a serious distraction when trying to fall asleep. Racing thoughts and endless mind loops are no way to achieve an optimal night of deep restorative sleep. The key to falling into the deepest sleep is learning how to quickly turn your brain off and into recovery mode. But easier said than done. One of the best strategies to re-programming your brain as you’re dozing off is to turn on a peaceful sleep meditation or ambient noise. Here’s a few of our favorites. Added tip: when using Spotify you can select the ‘sleep timer’ and it will automatically stop playing so you don’t get disturbed with your deep house playlist at 3am.

Calm App

One of our personal favorites. Not only is this our go-to day time meditation app because Tamara Levitt is the OG meditation voice, but their sleep tracks and peaceful background sounds are the perfect combo to slip into slumber.

Bob Proctor

Dr.Proctor can literally do no wrong in our eyes, may he Rest in Peace. Unfortunately Bob past away in early 2022, but his incredible words and wisdom live on through his powerful abundance meditations. We love listening to these as we fall asleep because it helps re-wire your brain subconsciously to align with the Law of Attraction.

Headspace

If listening to voices is too distracting, some soundtracks may be the best route for you to go. These are great for slipping into those REM and Deep sleep cycles more effectively and staying asleep as it can help drown out any sudden or loud noises.
